[ARCHIVED] Countdown to AutumnFest Underway

The 2019 edition of Edwardsville AutumnFest will occur on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21.

The event kicks off on Friday, with the Bank Midwest Community Craft Fair taking place inside the Edwardsville Community Center beginning at 4:00 p.m. Then, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Edwardsville City Park, ATMOS Energy is again sponsoring the 2019 Disc Golf Open. The first 50 registrants receive a free event disc for the tournament. Local microbrewery Outfield Beer Co. will be onhand as the official beer vendor throughout both days of the event.

Saturday's festivities will begin with the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast put on by the Kiwanis Club which will take place at Edwardsville Elementary. Tickets for this event can be purchased directly from the Kiwanis Club. Then, at 11:00 a.m., the Edwardsville Elementary School Choir will give a performance to officially start the festival on Saturday. From there, the Craft Fair opens back up as well as the free kid's carnival. Events and activities are scheduled throughout the day, including  Mouse Races, the EFD Squirt Gun Battle, food trucks, and more!

The day will cap off with a free concert headlined by Nashville up-and-comer Royale Lynn with opening acts from Kansas City favorites Rusty Laffoon and Rock Mountain.
