Former Kansas City Chiefs mascot Dan Meers will be featured as the keynote speaker at the Edwardsville-Bonner Springs Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet. Mr. Meers served as the KC Wolf mascot for a number of years before suffering a tragic accident during a stunt rehearsal in 2013. The event changed Dan's life course and he now makes appearances at events around the country providing a motivational message about making the most out of life. This will mark the first time Dan has appeared before the gathered Chamber of Commerce members.
