The Edwardsville Cemetery Board and the Parks & Rec Advisory Board will be conducting a joint works session with City staff on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will be primarily to discuss potential changes to the groups in 2020 and beyond. Recent resignations in the Cemetery Board have created an opportunity to merge the groups into a single entity. Details about this concept have been shared with the respective Chairs of each board as well as the City Council ex officio representatives. Details regarding the concepts implementation and the role of a consolidated board will be discussed at the joint work session.
The work session will be held at 6:00 p.m. inside the City Council Chambers of Edwardsville City Hall (690 S. 4th St.). The work session is open for the public to attend, but no public comments will be heard at the meeting.
