[ARCHIVED] State of local emergency extended

CITY HALL SIGH

The Edwardsville City Council  conducted a virtual meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 beginning at 2:10 p.m. The public was able to call in and listen to the discussion due to the current restrictions on City Hall access.

After discussion, the Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2020-02, formally extending the state of local emergency period for 60-days. This action may be rescinded at a later date prior to the 60-day window, should circumstances change.

Additionally, Mayor McTaggart has officially canceled the March 23, 2020 regular City Council meeting as a proactive precaution. There is no time-sensitive item for the City Council to consider at this time. For more information, please contact Assistant City Manager Zack Daniel at 913-356-6002
