[ARCHIVED] Date for City-Wide Clean Up Set

2019 clean up

The City-Wide Clean Up is an annual event that usually takes place the third Saturday of May. Due to the public concerns regarding COVID-19 and at the request of the City’s trash contractor, Waste Management, the 2020 event scheduled for that date was cancelled. The Cemetery, Parks, and Public Spaces (CPPS) Board met on June 10, 2020 and discussed options for rescheduling the popular community event. In order to avoid the summer heat, the CPPS Board voted to hold the event Saturday, October 3. Staff also intends to facilitate the City-Wide Garage Sale to take place the week before.

More details on this event will be released as the date approaches. For now, please note that date on your calendar for the 2020 City-Wide Clean Up.
