[ARCHIVED] City Council to Hold Budget Work Session

2021 Budget cover page

The City Council will conduct a budget work session beginning at 6:00 p.m., immediately prior to the start of regular meeting on Monday, July 27.

It is expected that staff will present information related to projected 2021 revenues and expenditures in the City’s General Fund (which funds operations for City departments). The Council will likely continue to discuss options regarding the City’s mill levy as it moves toward final budget adoption in late August.

Currently, while revenue projections continue to perform strongly relative to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, staff will likely present a largely flat budget from adopted 2020 figures. More information will be provided at the July 27 work session. This session is open for the public to attend, though no public comment period will be held at this time.
