[ARCHIVED] Livin' EDW Photo Contest Announced!

Livin EDW announcement

The City of Edwardsville is kicking off a new contest as summer comes to a close. The Livin’ EDW photo contest will be held to determine what is the cover picture for the 2021 Adopted Budget for the City and a new photo on the City’s official homepage. The rules of the contest are as follows:

  • Photos must be taken in the City limits of Edwardsville
  • Each photographer may enter up to two images
  • Each submission must include the photographer’s name, age, title of the photograph, and location it was taken
  • Photos must be appropriate to share with the general public. Questionable photos will not be accepted

The winning entry will also receive a FREE month of trash/recycling service to close out the year!

Photographers also consent to allow the City of Edwardsville to use their submitted photos on the City’s website, social media, publications, and other materials. All accepted photos will be posted on the City’s Facebook page for an online vote to see who wins! Depending on the amount of submissions, this may involve a staggered, single elimination vote series. Final details on this piece will be revealed when all photos are submitted.

Deadline to submit is September 30, 2020. Please submit your photos with the necessary materials to Assistant City Manager Zack Daniel via e-mail at zdaniel@edwardsvilleks.org.
