[ARCHIVED] Dec. 19 Brings Holiday Cheer to Edwardsville

This year, the City of Edwardsville is hoping to bring some holiday cheer right to your doorstep. This season is different in many ways, but we are hoping that this event will help spread the Christmas spirit.
Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, there will be a drive-thru pancake feed at the Edwardsville Community Center. Kringle Kakes for Community is a charity drive that will provide needed items to our local senior care facilities. The EFD is accepting items such as socks, magazines, or puzzle books that can be donated to these facilities. If you would like to contribute, please contact the City at 913-356-6002 to find out more.
At 1:00 p.m. that same day, the Ho Ho Express will set out into the neighborhoods. Edwardsville public safety departments will stage a parade that visits all established neighborhoods in town, bringing along a certain jolly old elf to greet onlookers. Route information with more specific times to be released next week. Local businesses will also be involved, so keep a lookout for some familiar trucks and vehicles in the route!
We hope you are able to join us for these events and we are looking forward to bringing them to you! More details available HERE.
