[ARCHIVED] CPPS Board Issues River Front Park Survey

riverfront concept

River Front Park has been identified as a development opportunity for 2021. The City owns the approximately 13 acre site just south of the River Falls subdivision, which has direct access to the Kansas River. The Phyllis J. Freeman Memorial Trail was expanded to include the area in 2018, but no other improvements have been made since then.

The CPPS Board and City staff would like to explore the development and installation of features such as playgrounds, seating, permanent restroom facilities, dog parks, and more. In order to provide the community with the kind of features they want most, a survey has been released to gather community input and demographic data.

Please take one minute to complete the short survey by CLICKING HERE. The survey will be open for at least the next three weeks and perhaps longer to gather more input.
