Ongoing road projects are expected to cause some road closures beginning Wednesday, October 27. City staff was recently informed by Wyandotte County's contractor for the Quiet Zone project that the 98th St. railroad crossing will be closed on Wednesday, November 27, beginning that morning. Please be mindful of this traffic interruption for your morning commute. This closure is not expected to last more than one day. Additional closures are scheduled for next week (weather depending) and include:
- Closure of the railroad crossing at 9th St. due to the ongoing Quiet Zone project (this is dependent on several factors and the City will issue a notice online when dates have been confirmed)
- Closure of northern sections of 102nd St. due to the full depth patching project. This partial closure will still allow for local traffic to access their homes and is expected to take place throughout November 3-5.
Thank you for your patience as City and County improvement projects continue to be completed.
