[ARCHIVED] Curbside Bulky Item Pick Up Set for 11/6/21

bulky item day 2021 FB banner

On Saturday, November 6, the City's contracted solid waste partners at KC Disposal will be conducting a curbside bulky item pick-up. A list of acceptable items can be found on the event's official Facebook page by clicking HERE. This is in addition to the City-Wide Clean-Up event, which takes place on the third Saturday in May each year and involves multiple dumpsters being placed in the City Hall parking lot for residents to dispose of large and/or bulky items not typically collected during regular trash pickup.

For the November 6 pick-up event, residential addresses  (not including the mobile home park who have a separate solid waste contract), will be allowed 2-3 bulky items that KC Disposal will haul off. No additional cost or registration is required for this event, as the cost is already included in the City's bi-monthly utility billings. If you have questions about the event, please contact City Hall at 913-356-6002 or via e-mail at zdaniel@edwardsvilleks.org.
