In addition to the Edwardsville City Council, there are other volunteer opportunities for citizens to become involved in local government decision making. There will be vacancies in both the Cemetery, Parks, and Public Spaces (CPPS) Board (info on the board HERE) as well as the Planning Commission (info on the board HERE). In addition to the hard-copy form available HERE to print out and return to City Hall, there is now an option to submit an interest form online. To do so, click THIS LINK to access the online interest form. Once submitted, a notification will be sent to the City Clerk, who will keep the application on file for future review and consideration by the Mayor. The Mayor is tasked with making appointments to these boards and appointments, with the approval of the Edwardsville City Council.
