[ARCHIVED] No CPPS June Board Meeting, Park Updates

Due to having no action items slated for this month's regular meeting, the Cemetery, Parks, and Public Spaces (CPPS) Board will not be holding its June meeting, originally scheduled for June 8 at 6:00 PM at City Hall. The group will next convene on July 13.

In other park news, work was done the weekend of June 4-5, installing two new basketball goals on the east and west ends of the futsal courts at the City Park. Staff and CPPS Board members reviewed this addition at their April 2022 meeting. Programming for this new addition is being developed now for 2022 and beyond. We welcome residents to come check out the new hoops, which are adjustable to allow for a variety of age ranges to play.
