[ARCHIVED] City Hall Hiring for Administrative and Court Positions

The City of Edwardsville is now hiring for two positions on its administrative team. What follows is a short summary of the two open positions, followed by a link to the City's online job posting site:

  • Accounting Manager: This full-time, non-exempt position is responsible for accounting, oversight, and reporting for all financial activities of the City, including general ledger, payroll, accounts receivables/payables, and utility billing. The ideal candidate is a person with attention to detail and proficient record keeping skills who can operate in a multi-tasking, public environment. 
  • Deputy Court Clerk: This part-time, non-exempt position is primarily tasked with assisting the Municipal Court Clerk in preparation for and execution of Municipal Court docket days, which take place on the first and third Thursdays of the month. This is a non-KPERs position, with maximum annual hours of 990. Weekly hours are flexible and may be tailored to the successful candidate, with an emphasis on the days leading up to and during court dockets.
