[ARCHIVED] 98th Street to be closed at RR crossing

RR closed

City officials received word early Thursday morning, November 10, that Wyandotte County contractors were given authorization to begin completion of the final repair items related to the Quiet Zone project at the 98th St. crossing, just south of K-32/Kaw Dr. Work on the crossing will begin Monday, November 14, and will result in the crossing being closed for a period of 7-10 days. USD 204 officials have been notified to plan bus routes accordingly as well as City public safety departments.
