[ARCHIVED] Administrative Offices to Close 12/21/22, Staff to Remote Work


Due to the extreme cold, high winds, and potential for snow accumulation, administrative personnel will work remotely on Thursday, December 21, 2022. This comes at the recommendation of Edwardsville Fire Chief Tim Whitham (designated as the local representative of Emergency Management) after consultation with the City Manager. City Hall and administrative functions related to the Police Department and Municipal Court will be closed during this time. Please do not come in to City Hall for regular business. During this time, Assistant City Manager Zack Daniel will be available via phone at 913-356-6002 or e-mail at Messages will be returned at the earliest possible convenience. To pay a court fine online, please click HERE, or call the toll-free payment line at 1-877-685-4493. Have your citation number ready to reference.

Public Works crews have mobilized the available equipment to treat roads, though projected high winds and low temperatures are expected to affect road conditions throughout the day. We encourage you exercise extreme caution during this weather event and to avoid travel when possible.
