STREET IMPROVEMENT PLANS
Invitation for Bids
The City of Edwardsville, Kansas will accept bids for the 110th Street
/ Edwardsville Drive Street Improvement project until Tuesday, February
7, 2012 at 2 p.m. (Central Time), at the City of Edwardsville, Kansas
City Hall, 690 South 4th Street, Edwardsville, Kansas 66113. A pre-bid
conference will be held January 26th at 2 p.m. in the Life Training
Center at City Hall.
The project includes road reconstruction for approximately 2700 ft. of
110th Street/Edwardsville Drive from Kouns Lane to approximately 880'
north of Shelton Avenue. The project calls for widening and
reconstructing the existing two lane roadway to an expanded two lane
roadway with curb and gutter and an enclosed storm sewer system. Bid
alternates will also be received for crack sealing, mill and overlay,
reconstruction of pavement edges, and/or microsealing from the north
end of the Improvement project to Riverview Ave.
Copies of the Bidding Documents are available for a non-refundable fee
of $150.00 for each set and may be obtained from:

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals,
in whole or in part, and to waive technicalities.
Bids may be held by the City of Edwardsville, Kansas, for a period not
to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of the bids
for the purposes of reviewing and investigating the bidders’
qualifications, prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw
his bid during this period.
