The Court Clerk's office is located inside City Hall at 690 S. 4th Street. Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Court sessions are held on the first and third Thursday of each month and are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Court sessions are as follows:
The FIRST THURSDAY court session is our Arraignment Docket. This docket is for first appearance court cases and is the date that will be listed on the front of your ticket. The prosecutor is available beginning at 6:00 p.m. The doors are locked at 5:00 p.m. and do not reopen until 6:00 p.m. The judge arrives, and court officially begins, at 7:00 p.m.
The THIRD THURSDAY court session is our Daytime / Trial Docket. Cases on this docket have been set over from a previous docket by the judge, prosecutor, or court clerk and are assigned to a specific block of time depending on the type of case.

9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - ProSe Cases
(11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Closed for Lunch)
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Attorney Plea Docket
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Sentencing Docket
2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Trials

Directions to the Court:
From 435 North or South take the Kansas City/Bonner Springs Exit (NO. 9) to K-32. Travel West on K-32 until you reach the 4th Street traffic light.
From K-7 North or South take the Bonner Springs Exit to K-32. Travel East on K-32 until you reach the 4th Street traffic light.
At the traffic light turn South onto 4th St. and follow for approximately 1/4 mile. A sign for City Hall & Municipal Court is located on the right hand side of the street just before you turn into the parking lot.
