Mark M. Mathies, Chief of Police
Mark M. Mathies is a native of Kansas and a 1989 graduate of Bennington High School in Bennington, Kansas. Chief Mathies, graduate of the 132nd KLETC basic, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Kansas State University, holds a Masters of Science in Management from Colorado Technical University, and is a Kansas Certified Public Manager. In 2005, he attended the 222nd session of the prestigious FBI National Academy.
