Police Canine Bear is a 3 year old German Shepherd, and he began his career with the Edwardsville Police Department in February 2020. After an extensive 6 week training course with K- 9 Officer Peter Yazbec, Bear was certified with the National Police Canine Association. Bear is a dual purpose K-9 officer.
