    Edwardsville is a unique community strategically located in southwest Wyandotte County. We boast a mix of rural and medium-density housing, river access, and a thriving industrial park. We are home to approximately 8,000 people during the day who live and work in the City and about 4,500 permanent residents who call Edwardsville their home.     2020 Soccer Sign Ups Begin February 

    Parks & Recreation staff are excited for the start of a new year. In 2019, the Parks & Rec Advisory Board and the Edwardsville City Council officially adopted the Parks & Rec Master Plan that included a number of strategies and recommendations to help expand the services of the department and better serve the Edwardsville community. New and exciting programming announcements will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2020. Popular sports leagues will also be making a return in 2020, starting with spring soccer.
